This session will focus on how to use a contextualized approach to mathematics instruction that provides students with extensive support needs meaningful learning opportunities. Use of technology to enhance approaches will be shared with some approaches.
Objectives:
• Use contextualized mathematics approach to promote generalization and maintenance of meaningful mathematics skills for students with extensive support needs
• Use 3P’s rule to make standards-based mathematics instruction feasible and meaningful for students with extensive support needs
